Founder, OBINRIN

Onyinye Fumnanya (Anita) Odiaka is the founder of OBINRIN, a discovery marketplace for women-owned businesses.

I kept seeing women build good businesses through Instagram, WhatsApp, referrals and personal networks, yet there wasn’t always one simple place to discover them.

A woman could know she needed a product or service, but finding the right woman-owned business often depended on who she already knew.

I wanted to create a place that makes that discovery easier.

That became OBINRIN — a platform where women-owned businesses can be discovered by women who are looking for what they offer.

On OBINRIN you can find a business, see what she sells, learn who she is, and contact her directly to buy. And if you run a business yourself, it’s a place to be found.

We’re starting with African women, beginning in Nigeria, and building from there.

For the African woman, by the African woman.
