Trust & safety
Marketplace guidelines
OBINRIN is a women's marketplace for discovering, shopping from and selling to women-owned businesses. Keeping it trustworthy depends on everyone following these guidelines.
How we treat each other
- Speak to every woman here with respect — no harassment, insults or abuse.
- No hate speech, discrimination or threats of any kind.
- Keep private conversations private. Do not share anyone's details.
- Be honest about who you are and what you sell.
Selling honestly
- Use your own photos and describe products truthfully.
- State your real price, delivery times and return terms.
- No counterfeit goods, illegal items or misleading claims.
- Answer your buyers. Silence after payment is grounds for removal.
Buying safely
OBINRIN helps you discover and connect with women-owned businesses. Purchases and payments are made directly between buyers and sellers.
- Review the seller's profile before purchasing.
- Ask questions before paying.
- Confirm price, delivery timeline and return terms with the seller.
- Do not share your OTP, PIN, password or other sensitive banking information.
- Use safe payment methods.
- For physical meetups, choose a safe public location.
- Report suspicious listings or behaviour to OBINRIN.
